WARRIORS FALL ON FINAL DAY OF TJC INVITE

Tyler, TX – The No. 11 Indian Hills Volleyball team fell on the final day of the TJC Invite to Missouri State-West Plains University in straight sets. The Warriors dropped the match by set scores of 25-23, 25-23, and 25-12.

The Warriors were taking on its fourth nationally ranked opponent in as many days. After dropping two matches on the opening day of the TJC Invite on Friday, the Warriors put together a valiant effort in each of the first two sets before West Plains pulled away for the straight-set victory.

Sophomores Brooke Amann (Woodstock, IL/South Dakota State) and Precious Daley (Des Moines, IA/Roosevelt) once again led the Warriors' offensive attack with team-highs of 12 and 10 kills, respectively, while combining for three blocks on the defensive front.

11 different Warriors saw action on Saturday morning, including Esra Ackay (Ismir, Turkey/Izmir Ozel Obek) who totaled a career-high seven digs to go along with a pair of service aces for Indian Hills.

The Warriors welcome a week-long break before springing back into action at the Iowa-Missouri Challenge in Marshalltown, IA, set to open up Oct. 1.
