WARRIORS RANKED NO. 2 IN FINAL POLL

Ottumwa, IA – With postseason action set to get underway, the Indian Hills Volleyball team checked into the final National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Volleyball poll at No. 2, tied for the team's highest rank in program history.

The Warriors wrapped up the regular season with a 3-0 sweep of conference foe Marshalltown Community College on October 26 to conclude the regular season with a 38-2 record. The 38 victories are the most among any team in the nation and the Warriors are one of just two teams to have surpassed the 30-win plateau this year.

Head coach Lyndsay Michel's squad has been ranked in all 10 regular season polls this year after appearing at No. 19 in the preseason rankings.

Indian Hills finished the year on a 12-match winning streak and have not lost a game since September 30. The Warriors have dropped just four sets over the team's final 12 contests. Indian Hills is 9-2 on the year against national ranked opponents.

The Warriors are now set to take on Kaskaskia College (IL) in the NJCAA Midwest District Tournament at 11:00 AM on November 5 in Carterville, IL. The winner will advance to the District title match at 5:00 PM on Saturday with an automatic berth to the NJCAA National Tournament on the line. In the other semifinal matchup of the bracket, John A. Logan College (IL) and Jefferson College (MO) will match up.
