WARRIORS JUMP BACK INTO NATIONAL RANKINGS

NJCAA DI VOLLEYBALL POLL - WEEK 4

Ottumwa, IA – Following its fourth consecutive victory, the Indian Hills Volleyball team rejoined the national rankings as the Warriors checked in at No. 17 in this week's National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Volleyball poll.

The Warriors (12-6) posted a 3-0 mark last week to move up from the 'Others Receiving Votes' category and jump back into the top-20 for the first time since the preseason poll. After a 5-5 start to the year, the Warriors have now won seven of its last eight contests.

Indian Hills picked up its first Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) win of the year last week with a 3-1 victory over Iowa Western Community College at the Hellyer Center. The Warriors followed up with a pair of 3-0 sweeps over visiting Carl Sandburg College (IL) and Kirkwood Community College at the Warrior Triangular on Friday.

Five of the Warriors' six losses on the year have come by teams in this week's national rankings, including four in the top-10.

The Warriors now head to the Blue Dragon Classic in Hutchinson, KS, hosted by Hutchinson Community College September 22-23. The Warriors will take on the likes of Spartanburg Methodist College (SC), Hutchinson, Mineral Area College (MO), and Butler Community College (KS).
