WARRIORS PICK UP 10TH STRAIGHT WIN
Ottumwa, IA – No. 14 Indian Hills Volleyball cruised to a 3-0 sweep over Marshalltown Community College at the Hellyer Center on Friday night to extend the team's win streak to 10 matches. The Warriors improve to 18-6 overall on the year.
 
The Warriors rolled past the Tigers in a cross-division matchup by set scores of 25-17, 25-14, and 25-14. 13 different Warriors saw the court Friday night in an all-around team effort at the Hellyer Center.
 
Indian Hills collected 11 service aces on the night to run past the visiting Tigers. Sophomore Sara Van Gisteren (Leuth, Netherlands/Young Talent Academy ROC Nijmegen) collected three while Emme Wilson (Sandy, UT/Skyline), Sasha Vidal (Asunción, Paraguay/Trinity School), and Sabrina Nogueira Da Silva (São Paulo, Brazil/Colégio Campos Salles) added a pair each.
 
Kinga Michalska (Szówsko, Poland/ZSSCHiO) led the offense with eight kills on 20 attacks. Nogueira Da Silva tallied a team-high 19 digs while Wilson paced the offense with 25 assists for the Warriors.
During the team's 10-match win streak, the Warriors have dropped just three sets, collecting seven 3-0 sweeps along the way.
 
The Warriors jump right back into action Saturday afternoon with a pair of matches at the DMACC Tournament in Boone, IA. Indian Hills will take on Parkland College (IL) at 2:00 PM and Iowa Central Community College at 4:00 PM.
