Centerville, IA – Sophomore Cole Huebner (Edmonton, Alberta/Strathcona) of the Indian Hills Baseball team has been tapped as the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Co-Pitcher of the Year, announced by the conference office on Wednesday.
Huebner delivered a breakthrough performance during his sophomore campaign in 2025, climbing the Indian Hills record books along the way. Huebner becomes the first pitcher in Indian Hills history to earn ICCAC Pitcher of the Year honors. The sophomore was tapped as Co-Pitcher of the Year with Iowa Western Community College's Noah Scott.
In addition to Huebner's honor, fellow sophomore AJ Marchetti (Wheeling, IL/Wheeling) was named the ICCAC Defensive Player of the Year while nine individuals in total earned National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Region 11 honors.

Huebner delivered a breakthrough performance during his sophomore campaign in 2025, climbing the Indian Hills record books along the way. The sophomore worked his way to a 6-5 record in 63.1 innings pitched, leading the team with 81 strikeouts. Huebner posted a career-best 3.98 earned run average to go along with a 1.28 WHIP.
Huebner tallied a pair of complete games in 2025, including a masterful performance in a 10-0 win over Des Moines Area Community College on April 13 where the right-handed hurler struck out 10 batters with no walks and no runs allowed.
The sophomore struck out 10 batters in a game twice on the year, including 10 punchouts against Iowa Western on April 26. For his career, Huebner finished with 133 career strikeouts, tied for fourth-most in school history.
During the 2025 season, Huebner was named the ICCAC DI Baseball Pitcher of the Week four times.
The Warriors reached the NJCAA Region 11 Championship series and finished the 2025 campaign with a 27-25 record.
