WARRIORS ANNOUNCE ROSTER FOR 2021-22

2021-22 Indian Hills Men's Golf Roster

Ottumwa, IA – Head coach John Mulholland has announced his roster for the upcoming 2021-22 Indian Hills Community College Men's Golf season. Four returners team up with five newcomers as the Warriors strive for a national championship.

"A new team full of solid competitors is going to be a lot of fun to coach," Mulholland stated. Five new guys, four returners, three with college experience on the course, six with new experience to be made. All in all, should make for a winning formula. We have added in some seriously talented golfers along with one of the best junior golfers in Iowa who has transferred in from the University of Houston. Some of the others have come a long ways to be chasing dreams of college golf and it's going to be another exciting year for the Warriors on the course."

The Warriors bring back four returners in Jake Calhoun, Thomas Choi, Max T. Hartmann, and Ryan Thomas who helped earn a seventh-place finish at the 2021 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI National Championship in Lubbock, TX.

Hartmann was the lone returner to compete in the 2021 national championship where the Oslo, Norway native placed 57th overall at the tournament. "Max was a solid contributor for the team last year," Mulholland noted. "No doubt in my mind that with the experience of last year, he will be better this coming year."

Mulholland brings in a talented group of newcomers that will make an immediate impact to the program. Cole Davis of Marshalltown, IA transfers to Indian Hills from the University of Houston. The four-time All-State selection at Marshalltown set the school record with 10 rounds in the 60s throughout his career.

Choi of Sao Paulo, Brazil was set to compete for the Warriors last season, but did not travel due to COVID-19 restrictions. Choi is currently the No. 1 ranked amateur golfer from Brazil.

Incoming freshman for the squad include Damian Osner of George, South Africa, Mitchell Revie of Queensland, Australia, Jaskaran Sohal of Queensland, Australia, and Frank Vucic of Adelaide, Australia.

The Warriors have claimed six national championships since 2000, including five since 2011.
