GLAUDAS NAMED ICCAC ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Ottumwa, IA – Sophomore Gaspar Glaudas (Sainte Tulle, France/Shattuck St-Mary's) of the Indian Hills Men's Golf team has been named the latest Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) DI Men's Golfer of the Week, announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.

Competing at the Zach Johnson Invitational at Glen Oaks Country Club in Des Moines, Glaudas produced a dominant performance on the links as the Warriors competed as the lone junior college program in the 13-team field. Glaudas finished the two-day, 54-hole event with an impressive 3-under, 210 to tie for fifth place overall out of 75 golfers.

Glaudas produced one of the top rounds in school history in the opening round on with a 7-under, 64 through the first 18 holes. Glaudas finished out the tournament with second and third round scores of 74-72 as the Warriors placed ninth overall as a team.

Glaudas produced the fourth-most birdies in the tournament with 13 while also adding an eagle for the Warriors.

Indian Hills has now collected back-to-back ICCAC DI Men's Golfer of the Week honors.

Glaudas also helped the Warriors tie for third overall this week at The Big O Classic in Elkhorn, NE as the sophomore captured his third-career individual title with a 6-under.

The Warriors return to action October 10-11 at the Throw Down 'Up Top' tournament in Homer, NE at the Landmand Golf Club.
