GLAUDAS LANDS SECOND ICCAC HONOR

GLAUDAS LANDS SECOND ICCAC HONOR

Ottumwa, IA – For the second consecutive week, sophomore Gaspar Glaudas (Sainte Tulle, France/Shattuck St-Mary's) collected Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) DI Men's Golfer of the Week honors after a remarkable performance at the Big O Classic for the No. 1 nationally ranked Indian Hills Men's Golf team.

Following the completion of the two-day, 54-hole event in Elkhorn, NE, Glaudas found himself alone at the top of the leaderboard by five strokes, winning the event with a 6-under 210 for his third-career title. Glaudas used bookend rounds of 68 to finish ahead of the heavy-NCAA DI field. The 210 was the second-lowest 54-hole round in Glaudas' career, a span that covers 14 events over the past two seasons.

A third-team National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Men's Golf First-Team All-American as a freshman, Glaudas has now collected back-to-back ICCAC Athlete of the Week honors. Glaudas has placed in the top-five in consecutive events, including a fifth-place showing at the Zach Johnson Invitational September 25-26 and the medalist honor at the Big O Classic.

On the year, Glaudas has posted three rounds of 68 or lower.

Glaudas and the Warriors are in action at the Throw Down 'Up Top' event in Homer, NE Tuesday and Wednesday this week
