SPIKEMARK TEAM RANKINGS

Ottumwa, IA – The Indian Hills Men's Golf team earned the No. 2 spot in the initial Spikemark rankings, announced Wednesday afternoon. The Warriors earned 23.38 points, just 0.21 points behind the top-ranked team.

The Warriors put together a solid fall season that landed them at the No. 2 spot in the end-of-year Spikemark rankings. The Warriors are also currently ranked No. 3 in the Golf Coaches Association of America Bushnell/Golf Week NJCAA DI Men's Golf rankings as of October 27.

The Warriors sit behind top-ranked Midland College (TX) in the Spikemark rankings. Odessa College (TX), New Mexico Junior College, and North Idaho College round out the top-five ranings in the initial poll.

Along with the Warriors' No. 2 team ranking, sophomore Gaspar Glaudas is the top-ranked individual in the nation in the Spikemark rankings.

Indian Hills placed in the top-10 in each of the team's events this fall season, competing against primarily four-year universities. Indian Hills placed third overall at the Big O Classic in Elkhorn, NE and third at the Throw Down 'Up Top' in Homer, NE. Indian Hills tallied a sixth-place showing at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Men's Golf Preview in Hobbs, NM.

The Warriors return to action in March with five events to tune up for the NJCAA DI Men's Golf National Championship May 14-17.
