Ottumwa, IA – Head coach Cole Dewey has announced the 2024-25 Indian Hills Men's Basketball roster.
This year's squad features two returners from last year's National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Men's Basketball Final Four run in William Beugre-Kassi and Jamal Entezami. Dewey has added 13 incoming members to this year's program, including seven true freshman and six transfers.
"With two key returners from last year's Final Four team, we have added a slew of talented transfer sophomores and freshmen. We are fast and athletic and I believe Warrior Nation will enjoy watching us get up and down this year. We're looking forward to the year."

A 6'4 guard from Waukee, IA, Mason Costello joins the Warriors after a standout prep career at Waukee High School. Costello was named First-Team All-State as a senior in 2024 after averaging 18.0 points with 5.5 rebounds per game for head coach Kevin Kanaskie's squad.

Back for his sophomore campaign, Kassi is back at the Hellyer Center after an NJCAA All-Region 11 freshman season last year. Kassi has put together an impressive summer before arriving back on campus, appearing in multiple showcases including the JA48 in Phoenix as well as the All-American JUCO Showcase in Atlanta.

Amonte Allen-Johnson joins the Warriors after an inaugural season at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi last year. A native of Flint, MI, Allen-Johnson led Grand Blanc High School to the 2021 Division I State Championship while earning Saginaw Valley League MVP honors. Allen-Johnson is a relative of former Michigan State and NBA standout Mateen Cleaves.

A native of Dallas, TX, Quinton Perkins led his Lake Highlands High School team to the 2022-23 Texas 6A State Championship while earning First-Team All-District honors. Perkins became a member of the school's 1,000-point club after a standout prep career.

A 6'2 guard from Akron, OH, Gadson joins the Warriors after competing for Buchtel High School and head coach Rayshon Dent as a prolific scoring guard.

A 5'9 guard from Frisco, TX, Trenton Walters joins the Warriors after a standout freshman season at NCAA DI Radford University in Virginia, appearing in 33 games in the backcourt. Walters scored more than 1,000 points in his prep career between Liberty High School and La Lumiere Prep in La Porte, IN.

Kayden Nation, a 6'7 guard/forward combo joins the Warriors after a standout season at Western Nebraska Community College. The Peoria, IL native appeared in 30 games as a true freshman, averaging 11.5 points per game, second-most on the team, while shooting 45.2 percent from the floor and 41.6 from three-point range.

Entezami returns to the Warriors for his sophomore campaign after serving a key role down the stretch during last year's Final Four run. Entezami, who appeared in 21 contests last year, was a two-time Academic All-Region selection. The forward is coming off a strong summer where he was invited to the All-American JUCO Showcase in Atlanta.

A transfer from Arizona Western Community College, Das Chagas brings size to the Warriors, standing at 6'10. The center appeared in 29 contests last year for the Warriors while shooting 50 percent from the floor. A native of Brazil, Das Chagas previously attended Utah Valley University.

Vladyslav Semerych brings a unique skillset to the Warriors while standing at 6'9. The forward, a native of Horishni Plavni, Ukraine, attended Cherkassy Specialized School 17 joins the Warriors as a true freshman for the 2024-25 campaign.

Tayshawn Bridges, a 6'2 guard began his prep career at Milwaukee Academy of Science before eventually landing at Hillcrest Prep in Phoenix, AZ.

Martin, a 6'1 guard from Anderson, South Carolina, was a three-time All-Region selection at T.L. Hanna High School under head coach Keith Arrington while being named to the school's Honor Roll.

Abdoulaye Fall, a 6'8 forward, brings a year of junior college experience after spending last season at Cloud County Community College in Kansas. Fall appeared in 30 contests, including 27 starts while averaging 11.6 points per game on 48.4 percent shooting. Fall earned KJCCC Player of the Week honors and was named to the NJCAA All-Academic Second-Team.

Ater Manyuon joins the Warrior squad as a 6'4 forward from Austin, MN. Mayuon attended Austin High School where he earned Big 9 Boys Basketball All-Conference honors under head coach Jamaal Gibson.

Joseph Reels, a 6'4 guard, comes to Ottumwa after competing for Tavares High School in Tavers, FL.
COACHING STAFF
HEAD COACH: COLE DEWEY
Dewey takes the reins of the Warrior program after being named the 18th head coach in school history in May. A former assistant at Indian Hills from 2015-18, Dewey takes over a team that has reached back-to-back NJCAA Final Fours. Dewey joins the Warriors after a successful three-year stint as an assistant coach at NCAA DI Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
ASSISTANT COACH: TREY RAKES
Trey Rakes was named assistant coach for the Warriors on May 28 after two seasons as an assistant at NJCAA DI Men's Basketball power Three Rivers Community College. Rakes' coaching path also includes stints at Coastal Carolina University and Colby Community College.
ASSISTANT COACH: SOLON ELLIS
Solon Ellis enters his first year with the Warriors after being named an assistant in June. Ellis joins Dewey's staff after one season as a graduate assistant and video coordinator at Southern Utah University. Ellis has also spent time at Western Illinois University and Keyano College.
