Ottumwa, IA – Eight members of the No. 3 nationally ranked Indian Hills Men's Basketball squad have been named to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Region 11 Team, announced by the conference office Monday morning.
The Warriors landed three individuals on the NJCAA All-Region 11 First-Team, two on the NJCAA All-Reion 11 Second-Team, and a trio of individuals on the NJCAA All-Region 11 Honorable Mention squad.
Sophomores Wiliam Beugre-Kassi (Pontoise, France/Albert Thomas), Abdoulaye Fall (Dakar, Senegal/Cloud County), and Trenton Walters (Frisco, TX/Radford) earned first-team honors while guards Amonte Allen-Johnson (Flint, MI/Texas A&M-Corpus Christi) and Quinton Perkins II (Dallas, TX/Tarleton State) were selected to the second-team. Sophomores Jamal Entezami (Berlin, Germany/Hermann-Ehlers Gymnasium) and Joao Das Chagas (Niquelândia, Brazil/Arizona Western) were joined by freshman Mason Costello (Waukee, IA/Waukee) earned Honorable Mention accolades.
The group has led the Warriors to a 27-5 overall record while securing the NJCAA Region 11 and NJCAA North Central District Championship to punch their ticket to the upcoming NJCAA DI Men's Basketball National Championship for the 20th time in program history.
"So proud of this group of guys this year," stated head coach Cole Dewey. "They've all sacrificed so much and have grown each and every day, into a selfless team that truly cares for one another. Anytime individuals get awards, team success plays a large factor in the decision making. Abdoulaye, Will, Trenton, Quinton, Amonte, JV, Jamal, and Mason are very deserving of these honors. They're all great young men with bright futures ahead of them. All 13 of these Warriors this year are 1st team All-Conference in my eyes!"
Beugre-Kassi becomes a two-time NJCAA All-Region 11 selection after earning honorable mention honors as a freshman. The forward recently surpassed 500 career points and Indian Hills after averaging a career-high 10.1 points per game in 2024-25. Beugre-Kassi has tallied 15 games in double-figures on the year, including a season-high 27 in the season-opener and 15 in the NJCAA Region 11 Championship against Southeastern Community College.
Kassi becomes the fifth different player since the 2020-21 season to earn multiple NJCAA All-Region 11 selections, joining Trevion LaBeaux, Enoch Kalambay, Taj Adnerson, and Chris Payton.
Fall joined the Warriors as a sophomore for the 2024-25 campaign and proceeded to lead the team in scoring with 10.8 points per game on the year. A two-time ICCAC Athlete of the Week, Fall started 27 contests on the year and produced an efficient 53.1 percent field goal percentage.
In addition to Fall's All-Region honor, the sophomore was named the ICCAC Player of the Year.

Walters manned the point guard position for the Warriors throughout the year, serving as a versatile threat at both ends of the court. Walters, who joined the Warriors for the 2024-25 campaign after a season at Radford University, tallied 10.5 points per game while boasting a team-high 117 assists and 50 steals on the year.
A two-time ICCAC Athlete of the Week, Walters tallied 16 games in double-figures, including each of the last three outings for the Warriors. Walters poured in a game-high 20 points to lead Indian Hills to the NJCAA Region 11 Championship before an impressive double-double with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists in a win over Dawson to claim the NJCAA North Central District Championship.
Walters was also named to the ICCAC Fall Academic All-Region 11 Second-Team for his efforts in the classroom.
Allen-Johnson joined the Warriors for the 2024-25 campaign and proved to be a key contributor on both ends of the court for the Warriors. The redshirt-freshman tallied 7.2 points per game in his first full collegiate season of action while adding 2.8 assists and 1.0 steals per contest.
The guard was twice named the ICCAC Athlete of the Week and posted eight games in double-figures on the year, including a season-high 16 in a win over No. 3 nationally ranked Triton College (IL) on March 1.
Allen-Johnson was also named to the ICCAC Fall Academic All-Region 11 Second-Team for his efforts in the classroom.
Perkins starred on the court in his first season with the Warriors, collecting a pair of ICCAC Athlete of the Week honors along the way. The redshirt-freshman was a threat on the offensive end for the Warriors, shooting 50.0 percent from the flor, 46.5 percent from three-point range, and 78.0 percent from the free throw line.
Perkins added 2.8 assists per game, 1.3 steals, and a team-high 23 blocks from the guard position. In a six-game span from January 24-February 22, Perkins averaged 18.3 points per game, including four games with at least 23 points.
Perkins was also named to the ICCAC Fall Academic All-Region 11 First-Team for his efforts in the classroom.
A two-year member of the Warriors, Entezami lands his first-career postseason honor after an impressive sophomore campaign on the court. Entezami averaged career-highs in nearly every statistical category, including points (4.5) and rebounds (4.6). The sophomore earned ICCAC Athlete of the Week honors for the week of February 24-March 2.
Entezami was also named to the ICCAC Fall Academic All-Region 11 First-Team for his efforts in the classroom.
Das Chagas proved to be a force in the paint for the Warriors. The sophomore center emerged down the stretch and is currently averaging 6.4 points and a team-high 6.4 rebounds per contest on the year. Das Chagas was named both the ICCAC and NJCAA National Athlete of the Week for the week of January 27-February 2.
Das Chagas has recorded a number of dominant performances on the year, collecting five double-doubles. The sophomore recorded 25 points on 11-12 shooting to go along with 23 rebounds in a win over Elgin Community College (IL) on January 31.
Costello rounded out the postseason honors for the Warriors after a breakout freshman campaign. The sharpshooter averaged 8.5 points per game after knocking down an ICCAC-best 55 three-point shots on the year.
The ICCAC Athlete of the Week for the week of December 17-January 5, Costello tallied 11 double-digit scoring performances while hitting at least three three-point shots in nine separate games on the year.
Costello was also named to the ICCAC Fall Academic All-Region 11 First-Team for his efforts in the classroom.
Along with the eight All-Region honors for the Warriors, Dewey was named the 2024-25 ICACC Coach of the Year.

The Warriors are set to tip-off at the NJCAA DI Men's Basketball National Championship Monday, March 24th at 8:00 PM against the winner of No. 14 Vincennes University (IN) and No. 19 Three Rivers College (MO).
