NJCAA DI MEN'S BASKETBALL ALL-AMERICA TEAMS
Ottumwa, IA – Sophomore William Beugre-Kassi (Pontoise, France/Albert Thomas) of the Indian Hills Men's Basketball team has been named to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Men's Basketball Honorable Mention All-America squad, announced by the national office Wednesday afternoon.
Along with Kassi, sophomore teammate Abdoulaye Fall (Dakar, Senegal/Cloud County) was named to the NJCAA DI Men's Baskteball First-Team All-America squad. Fall and Kassi became the eighth set of teammates in school history to earn NJCAA All-American honors in the same season. The Warriors have received multiple All-American honors in each of the last four seasons and six times in the last seven years.

Kassi starred for the Warriors during his sophomore campaign, earning NJCAA All-Region 11 First-Team honors, his second-career postseason honor. The forward recently surpassed 500 career points at Indian Hills after averaging a career-high 9.8 points per game in 2024-25. Kassi tallied 15 games in double-figures on the year, including a season-high 27 in the season-opener and 15 in the NJCAA Region 11 Championship against Southeastern Community College.
For his career at Indian Hills, Kassi averaged 7.9 points per game while averaging 4.5 rebounds per contest in 65 career games for the Warriors.
The Indian Hills Men's Basketball program has now produced at least one NJCAA All-American in 14 consecutive seasons.
