NJCAA DI MEN'S BASKETBALL ALL-AMERICA TEAMS
Ottumwa, IA – Sophomore Abdoulaye Fall (Dakar, Senegal/Cloud County) of the Indian Hills Men's Basketball team has been named a National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Men's Basketball First-Team All-American, announced by the national office Wednesday afternoon.
Fall becomes the 37th All-American in school history for the Warriors and the 17th to earn first-team honors. As a program, the Warriors have now earned an NJCAA First-Team All-American in each of the last five seasons.
Along with Fall, sophomore teammate William Beugre-Kassi (Pontoise, France/Albert Thomas) was named to the NJCAA DI Men's Baskteball Honorable Mention All-America squad. Fall and Kassi became the eighth set of teammates in school history to earn NJCAA All-American honors in the same season. The Warriors have received multiple All-American honors in each of the last four seasons and six times in the last seven years.

In his lone season with the Warriors, Fall was tapped as the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Player of the Year while earning first-team NJCAA All-Region 11 honors.
Fall appeared in 30 games on the year, making 28 starts for the 27-6 Warriors. The combo guard led the team with 10.5 points per game on the year while shooting 52.5 percent from the floor, 35.9 percent from three-point range, and 75.5 percent from the free throw line. Fall filled the stat sheet throughout the year, adding 4.0 rebounds per game to go along with 1.2 assists and 1.0 steals.
A two-time ICCAC Athlete of the Week, Fall reached double-figures 12 times on the year, including four games with at least 20 points. Fall tallied a season-high 27 points in a win over Lake Region State College (ND) on December 15. In four ICCAC contests this year, Fall averaged 15.0 points and 5.3 rebounds per game while shooting 66.7 percent from the floor.
In addition to his freshman season at Cloud County Community College (KS), Fall has totaled 663 career points at the collegiate level along with 216 career rebounds.
The Indian Hills Men's Basketball program has now produced at least one NJCAA All-American in 14 consecutive seasons.
