Ottumwa -- Eight members of the Indian Hills men's cross country squad were named to the 2019 Fall Academic All-Region team announced by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference this week.  The first-team selections earned grade point averages of 3.5 or higher during the fall while the second-team picks had GPAs between 3.0 and 3.49.

The first-team all-region honorees were Aytonn Bar-Shimon, Cade Curphy, Conner Riley, Ethan Mesenbrink, Jacob Glandon and Zach Schocker.  Named to the second team were Micha Reed and Seth Kilborn.  It's the second year in a row that Riley, Kilborn and Schocker received academic all-region honors.

Indian Hills had a total of 81 academic all-region members in eight different sports.
