MILLIKIN 16TH, WARRIORS 7TH AT LES DUKE INVITE

60TH ANNUAL LES DUKE RESULTS

Grinnell, IA – Sophomore Brady Millikin (Hedrick, IA/Pekin) led the Indian Hills Men's Cross Country team with a 16th place overall finish at the 60th annual Les Duke Invitational hosted by Grinnell College on Saturday. The Warriors placed seventh overall as a team.

Coming off a record-breaking performance in the season opener last week on a 6k course, Millikin finished just two seconds shy of a personal best on an 8k course with a time of 26:35.4 on Saturday. The top 16 runners were separated by less than one minute on the Grinnell Golf Course route.

Millikin was followed by freshman Brody Lucas (Norwalk, IA/Norwalk) who posted a time of 28:36.7 while Logan Soedt (Eldridge, IA/North Scott) clocked in at 29:11.8. Jaccheus Taylor (Kansas City, MO/Raytown) was the fourth Warrior to cross the finish line at 30:10.4 and Weston Shively (Bloomfield, IA/Davis County) rounded out the scoring with a time of 33:09.5.

Indian Hills will now head to the Grand View Invitational in Ankeny, IA on September 24.
