MILLIKIN NAMED ICCAC RUNNER OF THE WEEK

Ottumwa, IA – Sophomore Brady Millikin (Hedrick, IA/Pekin) continued to pace the Indian Hills Men's Cross Country program with a strong showing at the Grand View Invitational. For his efforts, Millikin has been named this week's Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) DI Athlete of the Week.

Millkin placed sixth overall on Saturday, and was the fifth collegiate runner to cross the finish line with an impressive time of 26:08.95. The mark is a new personal best in the men's 8k event for Millikin who has also posted a personal best time in the 6k this year as well.

The sophomore was previously named the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week after setting a school record at the Dutch Cross Country Invitational on September 2. Millikin has now posted two top-five finishes this year and has led the Warriors in each of its three meets this year.

The Warriors return to action on October 8 at the Seminole Valley Stampede in Cedar Rapids, IA.
