MILLIKIN GARNERS WEEKLY HONORS AGAIN

Ottumwa, IA – Sophomore Brady Millikin (Hedrick, IA/Pekin) starred on the course at the Seminole Valley Stampede last week and has been selected as this week's Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) DI Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week.

Millikin continued to reach new heights for the Warriors this season as the sophomore collects his second ICCAC Athlete of the Week honor this year. Millikin posted a time of 25:04.0 in the 8k event to place fourth overall in a field of 174 runners. The mark is the third-fastest time in school history.

Millikin's time was over one minute faster than his previous top 8k time to set a new personal best. During the 2022 campaign, Millikin has posted personal bests in both the 6k and 8k events, along with the school record in the 6k.

Millikin's record-breaking season also includes two ICCAC Athlete of the Week awards, the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week, and the Indian Hills September Male Student-Athlete of the Month.

Millikin and the Warriors return to action Friday, October 14 for the team's annual home meet at the Cedar Creek Golf Course in Ottumwa. Action gets underway at 4:45 PM.
