Cox ran a personal-best mark of 7.67 in the qualifying round of the 60-meter dash before capturing a 7.66 in the prelims, finishing ninth out of 29 competitors.

Along with Cox's performance in the 60m, the sophomore placed fourth overall in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.56 to place fourth overall at the event for the Warriors. Cox's 200-meter time ranks third in school history.

Cox was joined by teammate Zekira Snow (Brandon, FL/Bloomingdale) who also ran a 7.66 in the 60m in the qualifying round and placed 13th overall in the prelim round. Cox and Snow are now tied for the fourth-fastest 60m time in school history.

Freshman Destiny Mitchell (Milwaukee, WI/Milwaukee Riverside) took the top mark in her qualifying section of the 60m with a time of 7.74 to advance to the prelims, a new personal-best time. Mithcell also earned a fifth-place finish in the women's high jump with a mark of 1.57 meters

Freshman Laurie Louis (Miami, FL/North Miami) broke free in the 400-meter dash with a time of 58.39 for the Warriors. Louis' personal best mark is good enough for fifth all-time in school history.

The reigning Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Athlete of the Week Dymonde Nave (Sioux Falls, SD/Sioux Falls Lincoln) took sixth overall in the women's 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.81, just .02 off the freshman's school record set last week.
