NAVE EARNS SECOND ICCAC WEEKLY HONOR

Ottumwa, IA – Freshman Dymonde Nave (Sioux Falls, SD/Sioux Falls Lincoln) of the Indian Hills Women's Track & Field squad has been named the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Athlete of the Week after a breakthrough performance at the Arkansas Spring Invitational.

Competing in a pair of events, Nave placed third overall in the women's 100-meter hurdle event, running the second-fastest all-conditions time in school history with a mark of 14.28 (+4.3w). Competing as the only junior college athlete in the field, Nave finished just 0.02 seconds off of second-place and 0.12 seconds ahead of the fourth-place finisher.

The freshman also took home a seventh-place finish in the women's long jump event with a personal best mark of 5.45 for the Warriors.

Nave has now been selected as the ICCAC Women's Track & Field Athlete of the Week in both the indoor and outdoor seasons this year after earning the honor in January following a record-breaking performance.

Nave and the Warriors return to action April 19 at the John McDonnell Invitational back in Fayetteville, AR.
