With a 1-0-0 season series advantage over the Reivers, Indian Hills will make the trek to Council Bluffs to take on Iowa Western in a pivotal Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) tilt.

FIRST TOUCH

Indian Hills (5-1-5, 1-0-0) enters Saturday's contest with a six-match unbeaten streak, going 2-0-4 during the stretch.

LAST TIME OUT

The Warriors scored a key conference win over the Reivers, a 1-0 decision in Ottumwa on September 6. Indian Hills, ranked No. 13 at the time, knocked off the then-No. 5 Reivers behind a second half goal from freshman Aaron Joseph.

Sellers was credited with the shutout after the match was called with 7:50 remaining on the clock due to lightning.

Indian Hills has defeated the Reivers six times in program history, including the last two meetings. Saturday's matchup will be the sixth all-time nationally ranked matchup in series history.

SCOUTING THE REIVERS

The Reivers (5-2-1, 0-1-0) enter Saturday's contest after going 2-2-0 over the team's last four outings. Iowa Western won its most recent match, a 2-1 victory over Casper College (WY) after falling 2-1 to No. 5 Cowley Community College (KS).

  • Iowa Western owns a 0.63 goals against average on the year, seventh-best in the nation. The Reivers have allowed more than one goal in a contest just once this year.
  • The Reivers have relied on 13 different goal scorers throughout the year, led by three apiece from Timothy Mason and Roman Torres.
  • Will Divine and Javier Zaragoza have shared equal time in net for the Reivers, making four starts apiece. Devine owns a 0.50 goals against average compared to Zaragoza's 0.77 mark.

WHAT'S AT STAKE

A win for the Warriors would clinch the the regular season ICCAC championship, the first in program history for the Warriors. With a win, the Warriors would host the upcoming four-team NJCAA Midwest District Tournament, with the winner advancing to the NJCAA National Championship in Wichita, KS. The NJCAA Midwest District Tournament is set for Nov. 3-5 with the NJCAA National Championship getting underway Nov. 12.

WHAT'S NEXT

The Warriors have one regular season contest remaining, a road trip to Lewis & Clark Community College (IL) in Godfrey, IL on October 11. Lewis & Clark is currently ranked No. 16 in the NJCAA national rankings.
