For the second time in 10 days, two of the top teams in the nation will square off with unbeaten records intact as No. 1 Indian Hills travels to No. 4 Iowa Western Wednesday evening.
WARRIOR NOTES
Indian Hills will enter Wednesday's contest with a 13-0-2 mark following a thrilling 5-4 win over Lewis & Clark Community College (IL) on Friday afternoon.
- The Warriors maintained their spot atop the NJCAA and United Soccer Coaches national polls for the fifth consecutive week.
- Indian Hills will hit the road for the first time in 17 days with Wednesday's trip to Council Bluffs.
- The Warriors sport a 7-0-1 record away from home, including a 4-0-1 mark in true road contests.
- Sophomore Daniel Mulero holds steady near the top of the national leaderboards, ranking fourth int he nation with 38 points.
- 16 different players have scored a goal for the Warriors this year, tied for the most in school history.
NATIONALLY RANKED FOES
Indian Hills has battled through one of the most challenging schedules in the nation as the Warriors gear up for a postseason run.
- Wednesday's contest will be the Warriors' sixth contest against a nationally ranked team this year with all six matchups occurring since September 25.
- The Warriors are 3-0-0 on the road against nationally ranked teams, outscoring the opposition 7-4.
- Of Indian Hills' 15 matchups this year, the Warriors have competed against 11 teams that have appeared in either NJCAA DI or DII national rankings

One of the most highly anticipated matchups on the schedule each year, the two squads have seen a number of memorable battles on the pitch. Indian Hills is currently riding a six-match unbeaten streak against the Reivers, going 4-0-2 along the way.

SCOUTING THE REIVERS
Iowa Western (14-0-2) enters Wednesday's contest with the most wins in the nation after an 8-1 win over Parkland College (IL) on October 19.
- The Reivers currently lead the country in goals score with 85 on the year and rank fifth overall with 19.6 shots/game.
- Iowa Western boasts a 0.94 goals against average and is outscoring their opponents 85-15.
- Carlos Camara leads the Reiver offense with a team-high 30 points and 14 goals on the year.

WHAT'S AT STAKE
A win for either side will clinch a trip to the upcoming NJCAA Midwest District Tournament in Illinois on November 8.
- A 3-3 draw will result in a third matchup between the two teams on November 1 in Des Moines.
- A draw of 4-4 or more will clinch the automatic bid to the NJCAA Midwest District Championship for the Warriors.
- A loss or a draw of 2-2 or less for the Warriors will give the Reivers the right to advance to the District tournament.
- Either side that does not advance to the District tournament will await a potential bid to the NJCAA National Tournament with one of the four at-large bids available.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Warriors will close out the regular season with a home date against Crowder College (MO) on Monday, October 28 at 1:00 PM. The Warriors will recognize their sophomore class prior to the start of the contest.
