Ottumwa -- Sixteen members of the Indian Hills sports shooting squad were named to the 2019 Fall Academic All-Region team announced by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference this week.  The first-team selections earned grade point averages of 3.5 or higher during the fall while the second-team picks had GPAs between 3.0 and 3.49.

The first-team all-region honorees were Aaron Vos, Alan Carmichael, Drew Appleget, Arin Husband, Carson Boyse, Katelyn Talbert, MicKayla McCarty, Ryan Beitz, Sydney Goemaat, Trey Shafranek and Zachary Henry.  Named to the second team AJ Goodell, Cole Becker, Cooper Shelton, Harley Saulmon and Shayla Rotenburger.  It's the second straight year that Rotenburger, Henry, Becker and Saulmon received academic all-region honors.

Indian Hills had a total of 81 academic all-region members in eight different sports.
