EISCHEN TAKES TOP HONORS AGAINST SOUTHEASTERN

INDIAN HILLS VS. SOUTHEASTERN RESULTS

Ottumwa, IA – The Indian Hills Sports Shooting team dropped a narrow decision to Southeastern Community College on Saturday, falling 475-472 in the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) East Division Trap Dual.

The Warriors produced the team's second-highest mark of the year with 472 targets, but fell just short to the Blackhawks in the conference dual.

Indian Hills was led by freshman Aidan Eischen (New Sharon, IA/North Mahaska) who took top honors with 97 targets on the day, the second-best performance of the freshman's inaugural season. Eischen connected on round cores of 23-25-25-24 to close out the meet atop the podium for the Warriors.

Sophomore Alex Shelton (Chariton, IA/Chariton) took third place overall on the day with a total of 95 targets. Shelton, competing in his final home dual of his Indian Hills career, finished the day with a final round score of 25 targets.

Kyler Schwartz (Burlington, IA/Burlington) added 94 targets for the Warriors while Cody Carroll (Ottumwa, IA/Ottumwa) and Cooper Clark (Story City, IA/Roland Story) rounded out the top-five team scores with 93 targets apiece.

Haley Byrge (Chilton, WI/Chilton) was the top female for the Warriors with 89 targets, including an opening round 25 while Emily Butler (Centerville, IA/Centerville) added 85 targets followed by Emma Bradley's (Albia, IA/Albia) 84 and Scarlet Meyer's (Bloomfield, IA/Davis County) 81.

The Warriors now turn their attention to the upcoming Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) State Championship October 21-22 at the Cedar Falls Gun Club in Cedar Falls, IA.
