Ottumwa -- Fourteen members of the Indian Hills sports shooting team earned a spot on the ICCAC Academic All-Region teams announced this week.  The student-athletes who were honored for their academic performance in the spring term included:

1st Team - Aaron Vos, Alan Carmichael, Katelyn Talbert, MicKayla McCarty, Nathan Welch, Ryan Beitz and Zachary Henry

2nd Team - AJ Goodell, Drew Appleget, Cole Becker, Harley Saulmon, John Williams, Katelyn Bakalar and Sydney Goemaat

First-team selections compiled a grade point average of 3.5 and above while the second-team picks had a GPA of between 3.0 and 3.49 for the term.

Indian Hills had 99 student-athletes named Academic All-Region in seven sports that competed during the spring.
