BARBER CLAIMS FEMALE MEDALIST VS. IWCC

La Vista, NE – Sophomore Camme Barber (Oskaloosa, IA/Oskaloosa) put together another impressive performance for the Indian Hills Sports Shooting squad, but the Warriors fell short at Iowa Western Community College on Friday night, 492-474.

Barber took home top female honors with her best performance of the season, a 97 to lead the way. Barber finished the day with consecutive rounds of 25 to place second overall for the Warriors. Barber has now placed atop the women's podium in consecutive meets.

Freshman Kolton Kopsieker (Ollie, IA/Pekin) was the top overall finisher for the Warriors with a 98. Kopsieker's best individual score of the season tied for third overall, but fell short in the third-place shootoff. Kopsieker boasted back-to-back rounds of 25 midway through the event.

Jaxton Elliott (Bloomfield, IA/Ottumwa) scored once again for the Warriors, shooting a total of 95 on Friday. Over his last three meets, Elliott is averaging a score of 95.7 to pace the Warriors.

Connager Logsdon (Centerville, IA/Centerville) and Zach Ross (Ottumwa, IA/Ottumwa) each shot a 92 to contribute to the Warrior score, the team's best all-around performance of the season.

All 14 Warriors that competed on Friday scored 85 or better and each individual shooter collected at least one individual round score of 23 or better.

Indian Hills heads to Kirkwood Community College to take on the Eagles for a dual at 12:00 PM Sunday at the Otter Creek Sportsman's Club in Cedar Rapids, IA.
