Ottumwa, IA – The Indian Hills Sports Shooting team is set to return to action Friday afternoon with an Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Trap Dual vs. Hawkeye Community College. The Warriors will follow-up on Saturday with a trip to the Grand View Open in Des Moines, IA.

RANGE NOTES
Indian Hills and Hawkeye will square off for the second time in as many duals after the two teams met at the ICCAC East Division Skeet & Sporting Clays Triangular on September 23 in Oskaloosa, IA. The Warriors enter Friday's meet with a 1-1 overall conference record in Trap, having defeated Kirkwood Community College and Northeast Community College on September 9.
Hawkeye enters Friday's action atop the ICCAC East Division standings with a 2-0 record, having defeated Southeastern Community College and Northeast Iowa by a total margin of just two targets.
Hawkeye took the last dual between the Warriors and Redtails in 2022, a 477-434 victory in Ottumwa.
STALZER'S NOTES
"Hawkeye is always a force to be reckoned with being the defending ICCAC East Division champs in trap for multiple years in a row now. I'd like to think we can give them a run for their money on Friday. Trap wise, we are fairly deep, having almost a completely different top-five in our past few trap shoots, scoring 473 and 474, on par with Hawkeye's previous shoots. It'll be fun being able to compete and see how the scores end up at the end of the day."
