Ottumwa, IA – The Indian Hills Shotgun Sports squad saw 10 individuals collect Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) All-Region honors, announced by the conference office on Tuesday. The Warriors collected a number of accolades across all three disciplines as well as the High Overall (HOA) category.
In total, Indian Hills earned 27 All-Region honors, including 12 first-team selections spread out across trap, skeet, sporting clays, and the HOA categories. The 10 individual honors along with the 28 selections are both program records.
Along with the 10 individuals honored, head coach Jake Stalzer was tapped as the ICCAC Coach of the Year.

A pair of individuals were named to the ICCAC All-Region 11 First-Team HOA squad after impressive all-around performances throughout the year. Sophomore Haley Byrge (Chilton, WI/Chilton) was named to the women's All-Region 11 First-Team while sophomore Zane Kirubakaran (Ottumwa, IA/Ottumwa) was named to the men's All-Region 11 First-Team.
The women's All-Region squad featured three Warriors in total as Byrge was joined by Emma Adams (Oskaloosa, IA/Oskaloosa) and Emma Bradley (Albia, IA/Albia). Byrge, who was named second-team HOA last year as a freshman, earned first-team sporting clays honors to go along with second-team skeet and second-team trap recognition. Adams garnered first-team honors in both skeet and sporting clays while Bradley rounded out the women's honors with a honorable mention selection to the trap team.
Seven men earned postseason accolades, led by Kirubakaran's first-team HOA honor. Kirubakaran produced a strong sophomore campaign, including an impressive showing at the state tournament. Kirubakaran, an honorable mention HOA selection last year, was selected to the All-Region Sporting Clays First-Team for the second consecutive year, the All-Region Trap Second-Team, and the All-Region Skeet Honorable Mention squad.
The Warriors earned five additional HOA All-Region honors as Aidan Eischen (New Sharon, IA/North Mahaska), Jason Stursma (Harvey, IA/Pella), and Johnathon Boender (Oskaloosa, IA/Pella Christian) earned second-team honors while Cooper Clark (Story City, IA/Roland Story) and Jordan Patterson (Cambridge, IA/Ballard) earned honorable mention status.
Eischen was named to the first-team All-Region trap squad to go along with a second-team All-RegioN Sporting Clays honor. Boender earned a trio of honors, including first-team All-Region skeet and sporting clays honors. Sophomore Carson Abrams (Oskaloosa, IA/Pella Christian) earned his second consecutive All-Region Sporting Clays First-Team honor for the Warriors. Stursma produced a solid freshman campaign for the Warriors, totaling three All-Region selections in total. Patterson collected two postseason accolades, including second-team All-Region Sporting Clays honors.

HOA: Best Three (3) Regular Season Trap + One (1) Skeet + One (1) Sporting Clay + Championship Score in Each
Trap: Best Three (3) Regular Season Scores + ICCAC Championship Score
Skeet: Best Regular Season Score + ICCAC Championship Score
Sporting Clay: Best Regular Season Score + ICCAC Championship Score
