Logan, Hart With School Records for IHCC Track

Des Moines, Iowa -- Javaris Logan and Andrew Hart etched their names in the IHCC record book of top outdoor performances as Indian Hills competed in the Jim Duncan Invitational at Drake Stadium over the weekend.

Logan jumped 45'-8" in the triple jump to set the school standard and finished 3rd in the event. Hart ran 58.08 in the 400 meter hurdles, also a school best.

Nathan Winters notched another win in the shot put competition, with a winning toss of 53'-10", and was 4th in the discus with a throw of 142'-2".

In addition to Logan's 3rd place, high jumper Colton Lanman also came in 3rd, jumping 6'-4".

Joseph Stewart was 6th in the 400 meters in 49.64, 9th in the 200 meters in 22.53, and ran a leg on the 4x100 relay team that came in 3rd. That unit also included Montray Chambers, Spencer White and Jalen Lozano. Their time was 42.82.

White was 8th in the 100 meter hurdles in 15.73 and Lozano was 10th in the 100 meters in 11.56.

IHCC had three competitors in the 3000 meter steeplechase: Zachary Hougland was 7th in 10:39.38, Cody Mathis was 9th in 10:56.33 and Ryan Schaeffer was 11th in 12:13.89.
