Head coach Michael Shedd and the Indian Hills Women's Golf team are set to take part in the first-ever tournament as the Indian Hills Women's Golf squad begins its inaugural campaign

HISTORY IN THE MAKING

The eight members of the Indian Hills Women's Golf program will all tee off on Monday afternoon to mark the first participants in school history.

• The Warriors will make the 27-mile trek up the road to Edmundson Golf Course for the fprogram's first tournament, hosted by William Penn Univesrity
• Monday will mark the first of five tournaments for the Warriors during its inaugural fall campaign.
• Indian Hills Women's Golf was announced as the college's newest sport addition in May, 2022 as Shedd spent the past year building a competitive roster and schedule.
• Designed by Ward Smith, Edmundson Golf Course is an 18-hole public course in Oskaloosa that is known for its mature, tree lined fairways, challenging greens, and a creek that runs through the course. The course runs approximately 6,031 yards with a 68.0 rating and 120 slope.

SHEDD'S NOTES

"We have been working really hard these last few weeks to prepare our minds and bodies for anything thrown our way," stated Shedd. "These young ladies are ready to compete and show what they can do. I am looking forward to seeing how they do."
