The nationally ranked Warriors return to their home mat in a pair of key Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) matchups at the Multi-Purpose Building.
WARRIOR WOMEN'S NOTES
Indian Hills is set to make its 2025 debut with a top-5 clash against the Tritons.
- The Warriors enter Wednesday's matchup having outscored their opponents 308-134 on the year.
- Wednesday's matchup will be the Warriors' fourth dual against a top-10 nationally ranked team this year.
- Indian Hills checked in at No. 1 in the Team Tournament and No. 2 in the Team Dual rankings, announced by The Open Mat on January 9.
- The Warriors boast three individuals in the top-10 of the national The Open Mat Pound-for-Pound rankings, the most of any team in the country.

WARRIORS v. TRITONS - PART 3
With the ICCAC growing in membership in women's wrestling over the past several years, Indian Hills and Iowa Central have continued to be at the top of the pack of the conference standings.
- The two nationally ranked squads will be meeting for the third time in the last three years, with the Warriors taking both victories:

- Indian Hills and Iowa Central both enter Wednesday night's matchup with a 2-1 ICCAC record. The Warriors are outscoring their opponents 117-38 while the Tritons hold a 103-54 advantage.
- The Warriors have claimed each of the last two NJCAA Women's Wrestling Invitational championships while Iowa Central placed second last season and fourth in 2023.
SCOUTING THE TRITONS
Iowa Central will be making its first appearance of the new calendar year after competing five tournaments and three duals throughout the first half of the year.
- The Tritons boast a pair of individuals in the top-10 of The Open Mat Pound-for-Pound rankings in No. 8 Alexis Ross (138lbs) and No. 10 Kammie Shanz (145lbs).
- Iowa Central claims 12 individuals in total in the national rankings across nine weight classes, including three individuals in the top-6 at 124lbs.
- As a team, the Tritons are ranked No. 6 in the latest NJCAA poll, No. 6 in The Open Mat Team Tournament poll, and No. 5 in The Open Mat Team Dual poll.

WARRIOR MEN'S NOTES
Indian Hills (7-0) makes its dual debut of the 2025 calendar year after opening the new year this past weekend at the Dr. Tom Smith Invitational in St. Louis, MO.
- The Warriors held strong at No. 2 in the latest NJCAA poll on January 10, securing 72 points while trailing only No. 1 Western Wyoming Community College, the defending national champions.
- The Warriors are ranked No. 2 in both the Team Tournament and Team Dual polls, announced by The Open Mat on January 9. Indian Hills placed one individual in each of the 10 weight classes of the national rankings, including No. 1 Andrew Marquez, ranked No. 9 in the nation in the pound-for-pound rankings.
- Sophomore Isaac Gibbs ranks second in the nation with six major decisions on the year.
- Cinsere Clark (19-5) and Gavyn Whitehead (18-1) rank in the top-15 in the nation in total wins on the year.
- In seven dual matches this year, the Warriors have earned 39 bonus point victories, including 13 falls.
- The Warriors are 17-7 all-time vs. ranked opponents, including 10-5 in top-10 clashes.
- Wednesday's tilt will be the fourth top-10 dual of the year for the Warriors with Indian Hills winning each of the previous three bouts.
WARRIORS v. TRITONS - PART 6
Two of the most dominant men's wrestling programs in the nation over the past five seasons, Indian Hills and Iowa Central will square off for the sixth time since the Warrior program began in 2020-21.
- Indian Hills and Iowa Central enter Wednesday's dual as the only unbeaten teams in the ICCAC at 3-0. The Warriors have outscored their conference opponents 109-31 while the Tritons hold a 134-29 advantage.
- Wednesday's matchup will be the sixth consecutive dual where both teams are ranked in the top-20 in the nation, and third matchup where both teams are ranked in the top-10.
- Iowa Central holds a 3-2 all-time series lead against the Warriors, including a 25-21 win last season in Fort Dodge, IA.
- The last three duals have been separatd by just two points, a 64-62 advantage in favor of the Tritons.
- In each of the last four years, both squads have placed inside the top-10 at the NJCAA National Championship.
SCOUTING THE TRITONS
Iowa Central makes the trek to Centerville with an 8-2 overall dual record on the year.
- The Tritons are fresh off the NJCAA National Duals in Miami, OK, going 5-2 at the premiere junior college in-season event. Iowa Central scored wins over the likes of No. 21 Northeastern Junior College (CO) and No. 12 Rochester Community & Technical College (MN) while suffering losses to No. 3 Clackamas Community College (OR) and No. 15 Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College.
- The Tritons have totaled at least 43 points in each of the team's three ICCAC matches.
- Iowa Central is currently ranked No. 4 in the NJCAA poll, No. 3 in The Open Mat Team Dual poll, and No. 4 in The Open Mat Team Tournament poll.
- Led by 157lber Chance Davis, ranked No. 7 in the national pound-for-pound rankings, the Tritons feature seven individuals in both the NJCAA and The Open Mat national rankings.
