2024 NJCAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONS 2024: NJCAA National Champions | Council Bluffs, IA | 307.5 Team Points In the first year of sanctioned wrestling at the NJCAA level, the Indian Hills dominated the field to win its third consecutive national championship. The Warriors produced four individual national champions to go along with a program-best 17 All-Americans. Indian Hills finished 57 points ahead of second-place Umpqua Community College to win the first-ever NJCAA National Championship. |

2022 JCNC TEAM & DUAL NATIONAL CHAMPIONS 2022: JCNC Team National Champions | Roseburg, OR | 164.5 Team Points 2022: JCNC Dual National Champions | Roseburg, OR | 2-0 dual record For the second consecutive year, the Indian Hills Warriors claimed swept the team and duel JCNC National Championships at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, OR. The Warriors scored 164.5 team points on the opening day to take home the team title with All-American honors for 13 individuals across eight weight classes. Indian Hills earned a first-round bye in the Dual National Championship before defeating Big Bend 35-20 to advance to the finals. 2021 JCNC TEAM & DUAL NATIONAL CHAMPIONS 2021: JCNC Team National Champions | Roseburg, OR | 154 Team Points 2021: JCNC Dual National Champions | Roseburg, OR | 4-0 dual record In the first-ever junior college women's wrestling National Championship, Indian Hills traveled to the West Coast and came back to Ottumwa with two national titles. The Warriors took the first-ever team national title with 154 points, 11 points ahead of runner-up Big Bend as Indian Hills earned 12 individual All-American honors and three individual national champions. Indian Hills won its second national title of the event by going 4-0 in the team duals. GENESIS GILMORE | 2024 NJCAA NATIONAL CHAMPION 2023: 155lb National Champion | Council Bluffs, IA In her first season at Indian Hills, Genesis Gilmore became the program's first-ever 155lb national champion after running through the bracket at the NJCAA National Invitational. Entering the weekend as the No. 6 seed in the 155lb bracket, Gilmore produced a remarkable run through the tournament that resulted in the program's first-ever 155lb individual national champion. Gilmore scored three consecutive pins to advance to the semifinals with each match lasting no more than 1:12. Gilmore secured a fall in 25 seconds against the No. 2 seed from Snow College to earn a spot in the championship bout. |

ELIANA BOMMARITO | 2024 NJCAA NATIONAL CHAMPION 2024: 235lb National Champion | Council Bluffs, IA Bommarito, the No. 1 ranked pound-for-pound wrestler in the nation, secured her second consecutive national title as the sophomore capped her Indian Hills career with an undefeated record. The sophomore cruised the 235lb bracket with ease as the No.1 overall seed. Bommarito earned a fall in 20 seconds in the Round of 16 and a 16 second fall in the semis to earn a spot in the title match. Competing against teammate Karla Padilla Zepeda in the championship for the second consecutive year, Bommarito earned a fall in 1:29 to become a two-time national champion. |

DUTCHESS KING | 2023 NJCAA NATIONAL CHAMPION 2023: 101lb National Champion | Council Bluffs, IA In her first season at Indian Hills, Dutchess King scored the first-ever NJCAA 101lb National Championship as the No. 3 seed in the bracket. King, ranked No. 1 in the nation throughout much of the year, won all three matches without allowing a point on the mat. King secured a 10-0 tech fall, an 8-0 tech fall, and a 10-0 tech fall in the championship bout to win the national title. |
SHAMMILKA MIRANDA DIAZ | 2023 NJCAA NATIONAL CHAMPION 2023: 116lb National Champion | Council Bluffs, IA As the No. 3 seed in the bracket, Shammilka Miranda Diaz cruised through the tournament to win the first-ever 116lb NJCAA National Championship. Miranda Diaz outscored her opponents 38-6, including a 10-0 tech fall, a 14-2 tech fall over the No. 2 seed, and a 14-4 tech fall in the finals. |
2023: 136lb National Champion | Council Bluffs, IA 2022: 136lb National Champion | Roseburg, OR Alondra Rosado Martinez became just the second two-time National Champion in Indian Hills history, and the first to win a national title in both the NJCAA and JCNC. Martinez concluded her Indian Hills career as a three-time All-American. As the No. 2 seed in 2023, the first-ever NJCAA National Championship, Rosado Martinez earned a second round pin in 1:12, a 12-2 tech fall, and a 5-0 decision in the championship to win the first-ever 136lb NJCAA National Championship. In 2022, Martinez picked up a second round win over Alexis Evon of Southwest Oregon with a 10-0 Tech Fall and scored a pin in the semifinal round in 1:30 over Big Bend's Kayla Trujilo. Martinez defeated Grays Harbor's Grace Miller in the championship bout with a 6-0 decision to become the program's first-ever 136lb national champion. Martinez finished her career with a school-best 30 wins. |
ELIANA BOMMARITO | 2023 NJCAA NATIONAL CHAMPION 2023: 235lb National Champion | Council Bluffs, IA The top-ranked wrestler throughout the year, Eliana Bommarito capped a remarkable freshman season with a dominant showing at the first-ever NJCAA National Championship. Bommarito scored a pair of pins before a 10-0 tech fall in the championship for a total of 5:20 of mat time in three matches. Bommarito was named the NJCAA's Most Outstanding Wrestler while becoming the first-ever NJCAA 235lb National Champion. |
2021: 109lb National Champion | Roseburg, OR 2022: 116lb National Champion | Roseburg, OR Heaven-Leigh Jackson became the first-ever two-time JCNC National Champion after claiming the 116lb National Championship in 2022 following her 109lb National Championship as a freshman in 2021. Jackson defeated teammate Jamesa Robinson in the 2022 national championship with an 8-4 decision. Jackson scored a pin in the 2021 national championship over Big Bend's Kayla Rogers to become the first-ever 109lb national champion in women's junior college wrestling. |
MYA TURNMIRE | 2022 JCNC NATIONAL CHAMPION 2022: 101lb National Champion | Roseburg, OR As a sophomore, Mya Turnmire claimed the first-ever 101lb national championship in Warrior program history. Turnmire scored an 11-0 Tech Fall in the semifinal round over Southwest Oregon's Isabella Schulz before defeating Iowa Western's Nicole Montojo in the championship round with a 10-2 decision. Turnmire also helped lead the Warriors to the Dual Team Championship with two victories. Turnmire finished the year with 11 victories and five pins.

KENNEDY SHROPSHIRE | 2022 JCNC NATIONAL CHAMPION 2022: 109lb National Champion | Roseburg, OR Kennedy Shropshire put together a historic freshman season for the Warriors that resulted in a national title in the 109lb weight class, the first Warrior in program history to claim the individual championship at that class. After an opening round bye, Shropshire scored a fall in the 1:00 over Grays Harbor's Leilani Samoy. Shropshire took a second consecutive pin in the semifinal round in 1:27 over Iowa Western's Lorelei Wydra. Shropshire took home the title by defeating teammate Malachite Chunn in the finals with an 11-0 Tech Fall. |
CHLOE CLEMONS | 2021 JCNC NATIONAL CHAMPION 2021: 123lb National Champion | Roseburg, OR A two-time Iowa State High School champion, Clemons became the first-ever women's Junior College National Champion at the 123lb weight class. Clemons defeated Kaya Akana of Umpqua with a pin in 1:17 in the semifinal round before defeating Nani-Marie McFadden with an 8-0 decision in the championship bout to secure the victory. Clemons' title was the first-ever in program history and helped lead the Warriors to the first-ever women's junior college national championship. |
SOFIA RUBIO | 2021 JCNC NATIONAL CHAMPION 2021: 191lb National Champion | Roseburg, OR Sofia Rubio became the first-ever women's Junior College National Champion in the 191lb weight class, winning the title in the first-ever women's junior college national meet. Rubio defeated Clarissa Alvarez of Southwest Oregon with a 10-0 Tech Fall and took home the title with a 4-1 decision over Umpqua's Kaevon Burney as the Warriors went on to win the team national title. |
