Ottumwa, IA – Sophomore Emilio Arellano Lamas (Aguascalientes, Mexico/Instituto Universitario Mexico) of the No. 5 nationally ranked Indian Hills Men's Golf squad has been named a 2025 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I PING Honorable Mention All-American, announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Tuesday.

Along with Arellano Lamas' All-American honor, the sophomore was joined by teammate Roman Roth (Wayland, IA/Washington) on the NJCAA Division I PING All-District Central team, also announced on Tuesday. The duo helped the Warriors to a runner-up finish at the 2025 NJCAA DI Men's Golf Central District Championship and an automatic berth to the 2025 NJCAA DI Men's Golf National Championship in Newton, KS. 

Arellano Lamas produced a breakout season as the lone returner from last year's squad. The sophomore carried the Warriors throughout the duration of the year, capturing six individual top-10 finishes, including medalist honors at the Blue River Classic. Arellano Lamas tallied five top-10 finishes over his last six outings to build momentum heading into the national tournament at Sand Creek Station Golf Course.

Roth provided a standout freshman campaign for the Warriors, leading the team at two events on the year while carding a top-10 finish at the NJCAA Central District Championship.
