2023-24 Academic All-District® Women's College Division At-Large Teams
Ottumwa, IA – 18 Indian Hills Community College student-athletes have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Men's & Women's College Division At-Large Teams, announced Tuesday afternoon.
The group becomes the first set of student-athletes in Indian Hills history to be named to the prestigious CSC Academic All-District® teams.
The Indian Hills Baseball team was well-represented with five individuals while the softball team earned four selections. The men's and women's soccer teams, along with the volleyball team earned two honors apiece in addition to one individual from the men's golf, sports shooting, and men's track & field squads.
Select individuals from the CSC Academic All-District® teams will advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot which will be voted upon in July.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a 3.50 grade point average or higher and be a sophomore academically and athletically. On the field, student-athletes must have competed in a specific percentage of competitions in their respective sport.
The 2024 Academic All-District® College Division teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the playing surfaces and in the classroom. A specific division, the College Division, was formally recognized in 2018 to provide additional opportunities for two-year colleges throughout the National Junior College Athletic Association.
